Gentlemen,

i do not often post, but have found something that might interest a few people. Basically this guy has modified a pasta machine to convert it to a grain mill by texturing the rollers with a drill, the link is below

if you look through the thread there are some videos of it in operation.

I spotted some pasta machines at big w this morning, for around 25 bucks.

Anyway, i have a spare one around the house that's busted (the fettuccine cutters kept misaligning themselves), but the sheet rollers were fine, so guess what's happening to it this afternoon....
 
nice - essentially a marga once the rollers are roughed up.

Maybe not the "best" mill in the world - but if you have a pasta machine you got as an unwanted wedding present or something... looks like it'd be worth a shot.
 
Except that a marga grain mill is three rollers and a pasta mill two
