just bought a used mash paddle at the markets and was wondering if anyone knew the best way to get this sucka ready for my next mash. Also should I drill some holes in it? It is pretty clean but I want to get brew clean.
I'd just give it a good scrub in the sink, and soak in a very weak bleach solution overnight. Remember the boil will take care of any nasties, you just want to really remove any gunk.
