Sorry, didn't know there were more than one. Thinking of the one Grumpy's made up for last weekend.

Cheers.

Whichever you consider your best would be nice :)

Duff, the recipe was 30% JW Export Pils, 30% Weyermann Vienna, 30% Weyermann Dark Munich and 10% Weyermann Melanoidin. One 60minute addition of Tettnanger to obtain 25 IBU. Yeast would have been WL 833 but we used 34/70 I think as we had a problem obtaining the yeast for brewday.
OG of 1058.

I hope this is all the info you required.

Ross, for my tastes the best Oktoberfest I have brewed was a simple grain bill of 50% Dark Munich (Weyermann)
25% Galaxy
25% Pils Malt (Weyermann)
Hallertauer at 60 minutes for 22 IBU
Hallertauer at 15 minutes for 3 IBU
Wyeast 2206
OG of 1054
FG of 1012

Used rain water as well.

If you try the recipes I would love to hear of your opinions, good or bad.

tDA's Oktoberfest recipe made at Grumpy's was 100% Weyermann by the way.

None of that Aussie muck in an Oktoberfest ;)

Are you sure you had that much Melanoidin? I haven't got the recipe here but it looks higher than used.

I'll add that after having drunk a few of them now, that 5% CaraPils wouldn't go astray.

How did the flavour suit you after yesterdays visit?
