Does anyone have a kit plus extract plus hops recipe for a decent Octoberfest?

Does anyone have a kit plus extract plus hops recipe for a decent Octoberfest?

I am going to try the following one of these days...

ESB Bavarian Lager 3Kg kit
steep munich grain at 65 degrees 1 hr
chuck in some saaz to give some aroma (maybe 1 plug)
use W34/70 at 10 degrees

I've got the kit & hops, I just need some grain and some time and an oktoberfest might be happening in January....Januaryfest?

Anyone else got some other improvements/ideas?

I did use the fwk last year and found it to be excellent. Unfortunately it is only released once a year and it didn't last very long at all...

Does anyone know of anywhere that still may have an ESB Fresh wort Octoberfest left? I am looking in the sydney area.

I am going to try the following one of these days...

I would give the Saaz a miss, maltiness is the key to oktoberfests if you are going to add any hops make it a noble german hop like Hallertauer Hersbrucker.
