I have heard that adding about 200 to 250gm of oatmeal to a stout mix can soften it out.
I am thinking of trying this out with a Coopers Stout and was wondering if anyone has tried it and if so what ingredients they used and if the boiled the oatmeal.
Was thinking along the following lines:
1 can Coopers of Rapid Creek Stout mix
1kg LDME
500g Maltodextrin
250g Oatmeal
Any comments or ideas gratefully accepted.
