G'day All (Josh-get my PM?),

The monthly Northside Wine & Beer Makers meet next Wednesday night, 4th May,
at the Lindfield Senior Citizens Hall, 259 Pacific Hwy, Lindfield.
7:45PM for an 8PM start.

The hall is situated 5 min walk Sth of Lindfield Rwy Stn, along the Pacific Hwy.
(Lindfield Stn is on the North Shore Line, 2nd stop after Chatswood from the city).

If you want to:
talk brewing and try other people's home brew
try beers you haven't made before and get ideas for that next batch
improve your home brew, or help others improve theirs
learn/ teach other brewing methods
go on brewery tours
participate in club comps
have access to a brewing library

then we're the club for you.

The club has members with a wide range of experience from kit brewing,
through partial mashing to all-grain and professional brewing.
We have members who are successful at the major home brewing competitions,
who are willing to help with brewing qns.

We are an easy going lot who enjoy making their own.

Drop in & say g'day.

Rgds,
Peter

Do we drag along a few bottles or will there be some CO2 there to hook up a keg?

Mike feel free to bring a bottle or 2. I will have a portable CO2 set up if you are bringing a keg.
Cheers
Gerard

G'day Mikem108 & others,

We encourage brewers to bring a bottle (or 2) of something they've made.
Some drop into the bottlo and pickup something out of the ordinary if they can't manage one of their own, but there is no obligation to bring anything.
The focus is not simply on consumption at these meetings. It's one of the reasons we've lasted so long & never had any, er... trouble. (Don't laugh Gerard!)

Also as most members drive there, they tend to watch their consumption.
Hence most people just bring a bottle.

Being a hall, we don't have any CO2 unless someone brings it.
(Gerard to the rescue in this case)

Looking forward to meeting up.

Rgds,
Pete
