For those that are interested the Northside Wine and Beermakers or Northside Brewers meet on the first Wednesday of every month, & have been for quite a few years. Meetings are held at Lindfield Senior Citizens Hall, (beside the Library). Pacific Highway, Lindfield, from 7.30 PM for 8 PM start. Their aim is to provide a forum and fellowship for those interested in the hobby of brewing beer and wine. Note, the wine side has diminished in recent years and they are primarily a beer-brewing club, though forays into other fermented beverages is tolerated! Take along a longneck of your favourite brew; it really is a very interesting and informative night.
The highlight of these meetings in my opinion is Chris Arnott's Kolsch & Wheat Beers. This week Chris blows out the candles on his 85th birthday cake, so come along and help support Sydney's longest running brew club. ( yes you can argue that point if you like)
