Hey guys,


Ross has been at me to go to Babbs for ages now, and I really want to, but I live so far away and the only real way of getting there is to drive.

Was wondering if there was anyone around my area that might want to get into a car pooling deal with me, eg. I drive one month, they drive the next, so that at least every second month I can partake in some beer tasting?

Have you considered attending PUBS or BBC meetings as these two clubs meet on the northside (petrie, kallangur strathpine for PUBS and Chermside library for BBC). Give me a yell if you are interested.

I'd be up for BBC - I'm in Boondall and have been looking for something closer on the Northside. Any details for BBC?

Not wishing to rain on parades but I understand (could be wrong) that the BBC meets at a library and aren't allowed to take any beer to meetings.

Actually the beer is tasted in nips. With the socialising starting around 7.30 and meeting at 8.00 -8.15 then knocking off at 10.30 you can taste a lot of beers and still stay well within the general guide of 2 drinks in the first hour and a drink per hour after that. I like to get down to BABBs as it's good to have a sober night now and again :lol: - same with Pine Rivers PUBS club.

If you like, if you can get a lift to Gympie Rd I can scoop you up for the next meeting and go through the Clem, and drop you off on Gympie Rd on the way home.
