Hello all.
My name is Chris I am from Tasmania & this is my first post.
I am looking into starting to brew my own drop of nectar.
I need help in setting up.
Can anyone give me some advice on the equipment I need.
Cheers.

Chris problem is there are about 10,000 answers to such an open ended question.
Are you starting from zero? do you have any equipment, how big a batch do you want to make...

You will need to decide if you want start with kits, or jump into all grain.

Might be worth asking around about any local home brew shops, some of the good ones can and will take the time to help you, you might be able to find a local home brew club, or even someone local who can help you.

Sure plenty of people here will help, but you really cant expect people to spend all day answering vague directionless questions, so open up a bit about what you need and what you aim to achieve.

A good place to start would be to have a look at the free online book "John Palmer How to Brew" at howtobrew.com
John describes processes from Kit and kilo, partial mash and all grain as well as explaining the process and equipment.
You can buy the latest in electric or book form but the earlier online version is free.
