Hi All,

I've been using a couple of soda stream bottles for my party keg setup.
Went to Kmart to swap empties & was told bottles supplied are now 400gm, 330gm not available.
Price has jumped to about $19.

On connecting the adaptor & reg, it seems the thread & pin system are different, current soda stream adaptor doesn't depress the pin, so doesn't work. (pictures below, new one on left)

I can't see an obvious work around.

Has anyone else struck this & if so, how did you solve it?

Cheers,

Mark.

Mine screwed straight onto adapter and worked perfectly.

Here is a good thread about it

I done the o ring and tube over the adaptor pin and it worked a treat until I swapped the bottle and it had a pin like the smaller ones. So i melted a little ball of silver solder and put it in the tube I placed on the pin on the adaptor and it now works a treat again.

Cheers
