Finally, after much waiting I have got my mash tun completed....no photo's so you have to picture....
techni-ice 40 litre courtesy of brother for birthday...been sitting around for a few months.
Some copper pipe, assorted tees, elbows, various washers, taps, barbs..........
first brew day in it today....Pilsner Urquell clone...4 step decoction mash with a cold water mash in, 2 1/2 hour mash, sparge went perfect.
Tiny leak in tap, nothing a bit of extra teflon won't sort out.
No chill cube full of fresh wort of a clarity unknown in my brew shed before today.....
Hit numbers spot on all day...total 6 1/2 hour brew day, glad they are not all like this. Had a bloody great time though.
No more BIAB in the tradie bucket around here.

Next thing is a tap and pick up in the keggle....

Sucking on 500ml cans of Stella I found at local BWS this morning, certainly a lot better than the poor arse attemp the locals make of brewing it.
