I know a guy is Brisbane North side that could probably set you up at a good price. I will give him a call tommorow (If I remember)
I think he sells kegs for $70 reconditioned new seals etc etc. He's where I got most of my kegs and gear from.

Whats the go with getting a gas bottle....BOC want $100 per year plus fill..any cheaper alternatives?

My LHBS sells CO2 bottles
5kg - $328
10kg - $420
You then own the bottle, pay no rent but have to get it tested every 5 years.

I have a 5kg fire extinguisher absolutely mint , tested dip tube removed and filled for $143.....Contact your nearest fire tech mob to see if they have some lying around.....

I think the fire extinguisher option is a great idea.
I may get a small one for a backup bottle myself.
