Has anyone tried a blowoff tube on a Cooper 30L plastic fermenter? Sticking one in the hole where the airlock normally goes, with or without the rubber gasket, would mean using a narrow tube, and I'm wondering if it might clog.

I have used the same 8mm beer keg line in a 100L red wine barrel for two consecutive 2+ month ferments.
Really should be no issue :)

Helps if you get a small funnel, cut the end off and jam it upside down through the grommet and put the hose on the end of the funnel, works well

I've been using the grommet with a hose that runs into a glass off water no worries. This is due to space within the fridge but it works a treat.

To all:

Encouraging comments, and I'll try it. Thanks.
