I've just received these results from the Perth Water Corporation. This is the water Profile for Melville.
The results (in ppm) on the left are minimums, the right maximums.
Alkalinity as CaCO3: 50-75
Calcium:9.5-25
Chloride: 85-250
Hardness as CaCO3: 50-80
Magnesium: 2.8-6.8
Sodium: 53-165
Sulphate: 12-21
pH: 7.71-8.15
The results aren't very specific, but could someone try give me an idea as how this water would go brewing lighter beers like Kolsch, Lagers etc, and if i'd need to add much.
Thanks.
