Thought i'd show off my new water heater.

I do 3v manually and do 84l batches. 160 litre gas fired hot liquor tun and a 120l esky mash tun.

I was using a 50l keg to heat strike and sparge water, but sometimes i'd need 70l or more for the sparge and it was a real juggling act getting hotter water and adding cold ect to get the right temp and volume.

So i upgraded to one of my stock 120l boilers. i love this thing. It's shiny and it's cool.

I did a trial brew the other day and my water in was 70C from the solar hot water system, i heated 70l up to strike temp in just a few minutes with the 3 ring burner underneath running on an adjustable regulator.

I use it for other things too, but as a water heater i couldn't wish for better.

That is some serious bling you got there. Looks bloody awesome.

Taking the picture outside with the clouds reflecting off the shiny surface is a nice touch.
