Well I cracked AG No 10 & 11 today and it's the first time I've taken some pics.

I have a basic bits & pieces 2 vessel No-Chill system and are finally getting the hang of it and are cranking out some beers pleasing to my palate.

My brew day started @ 6.45am.

Just makes me thirsty looking at it.
Like the way you do it on your barbie. I've been very tempted to get into that recently.

If ya haven't tried, it's a lot easier than ya think

The BBQ was here when we moved into this house 10months ago......BONUS!!!

Looking good there! Double batch days are gold.

No chilling from the look of the cube? Noice!

Nice bags you use the hops for mate looks like something else.

Well done, that is an excellent setup considering space and value for money.
My only sugggestion to potentially help prevent some off flavours would be to run your tube from the mash tun to the base of the kettle.
There are a couple of schools of though regarding hot side aeration that it can happen at any stage.

Other than that though, excellent!!

What are you using there for filtering out the hops. Is that one of them wirey type scourer you can get from Wollies.

Yep sure is

When I first started I just whirlpooled, then drain through pick up tube only from the side of the pot
Wort was fairly clear but got some hops and break in the cube

So one day I had an idea to use an ordinary stainless steel scrubber over the pickup and it worked that well I use it all the time now (I did have a really slow drain a coupla brews back, so that is why I cut the slots in the pickup, but now it flys)

I buy em in packs of 6 for $2.50 from the cheap shop
No mess, no fuss, use it and throw it away, no cleaning

I also use my barbie burner, only gas ring burner I got.

If you sit them in the sun for a day, bash the dry crud out of them they are good to go again.
Have used the same ones for a year.

im just looking at the best way to set up my kettle...looks like the steel wool setup you have here is going to me much easier (and cheaper) than anything else i was going to do...props! :icon_cheers:

love the steel wool hop screen. its been mentioned in the past. love it. although do you bother cleaning it, or just chuck it and use a fresh one? im interested.
