Howdy Brewfolk...

Anyone have any experience brewing with Munich Lager II?

I recently finished a Dortmunder Ex and fermented at 12 with a 4L starter.

Anyone have any experience brewing at the higher end of the recommended temp scale (ie 16).

Just wondering, as this strain according to the manufacturers should be fermented from 10-16 which seems higher than usual?

Of interest, I tasted the starter which fermented at 25 and it was super super clean...

i have a Oktoberfest cc'ing at present with this yeast. I had no idea with which direction to go temp wise because the range was a little high for a lager, plus my 18c starter tasted amazingly malty and delicious. I brewed mine at 14c which was middle of the road and it seems to have more esters than what I remember of the starter. It has a bit of honey and apricot flavour going for it. I think it'll be a winner once carbed up.
