Was going through My equipment today just having a look as you do. Being a painter and decorator by trade i decided to give a paint stirrer(brand new of course) a go to get the wort nice and foamy before adding the yeast . It works a treat and I am very happy with it , it has however become My most unlikely piece of brewing eqipment and soemthing that i never thought would make it into the brewroom

Anyone else have strnge and unusual pieces of equipment that they use ?

Cheers :D

Bloody great as long as it is sterile/

Don't know about unlikely, but I have an unlucky piece.
I have a very expensive data logger that logs my mash temp and hlt temps as I go. I managed to drop it into my wort. rectum. Unlikely umbrella cover that is now a hop bag.
