Disposable filter will get costly I reckon.
Also, it's 1 micron (or 3 micron) "nominal", not "absolute".
I'd spend the extra up front to save $ long term and get an absolute rated reusable filter locally.
 
There are $50 filters on ebay that come with a 1 mic absolute filter cartridge that work fine.

Well, apparently CB's filter units are of a higher quality ... but to be honest, my cheapo filter, well, filters bright and clear, and has done for ages now.

I'm sure you're buying a better quality product but the price difference is freakin shocking. Then again there's quite a bit of difference between a BigW 19L pot, and a Braumeister thingo ... and they both make great beer.

I'm the kinda guy who buys a Toyota, not a Lexus.
