I've just recently got myself a 23-jet Mongolian burner and in the process of finding out that the
fitting is a 1/2" BSP, I noticed that there are jets for LPG and jets for Natural Gas.

Does anyone know the difference between the two jet types and if Natural Gas jets would create
soot, if used with LPG?

Xav.

The natural gas jets are larger. Since the jet works by the gas pressure running through the orifice creating a low pressure around it sucking in air to mix, I do think the larger jets will create more issues with soot. I have a 20 jet Mong burner, even with LPG jets running LPG I still had issues with soot when trying to do a single batch, so much so I purchased a NASA burner and have never looked back.
