Mlf/barb Quick Disconnects

Hi guys...Im ordering some gear from BrewersDiscount and was just wondering whats the norm or whats better in relation to Quick Disconnects:

- Plastic / Stainless.....Stainless not worth it? 3 times the price....

- MFL / Barb......Is MFL where you buy a femal MFL to barb 1/4" fitting which is on the host and then screw that onto the male MFL on the Quick Disconnect? no?

- Can only get Stainless in MFL from BrewersDiscount?

I first ordered MFL thinking this would be better.. however I didn't order the extra piece that screws on the end so it was a dumb idea.

My next order was just for barbs and I am happy with them, will probably stick to barbs from now on.

Just go the plastic, I haven't tried stainless steel but have heard good comments with the plastic ones
