Hi
I got a 2A crankandstein mill not long ago and am in the process of building a hopper for it. It came with an adjusting bar. Does the bar need to be on the mill all the time or is it removed once set (its not real clear on the instructions or maybe its me  ). Is using a electric drill ok to use with the mill. Any advise or pics would be great

Drill should be OK. Try to slow it down if you can. Mounting it somehow would be best to stop "wobble" as I suspect it will chew on the bearings.

beer slayer,
I have the 2s and use a variable speed drill at the lowest possible speed.

I have no idea re the adjuster, but I suggest you drop Fred a line at Crankandstein as he is very helpful and responsive with advice.
