Martin. If you see USE RICH TEXT EDITOR then click on that. Should get the full features back

You can turn off the menu bar again by clicking on the spanner icon.
Some forums have a quick reply window and a "use full editor " option, I think that this is our equivalent.

That's probably it, I switched mine off and the icons at the top of the comment window disappeared.

The avatar image is incorrect dimensions on the /media/ image pages and is stretched. Apologies if this has been reported before, I'm too lazy to read the whole thread :)

When I click the Recent Posts link, from the New Posts page, it takes me to https://aussiehomebrewer.com/find-new/posts but then redirects me to another URL that changes all the time. This means I can't just hit Ctrl+R to see the new recent posts, I have to put my hand on the mouse and drag it all the way to the tiny little link somewhere near all the bloody ads. I created a bookmark to the URL but still requires me to use the mouse and I'm far too lazy for that.

Also on the Android app the Timeline only lists like 10 or so recent posts instead of infinite scrolling.

F5 is further away, requiring my whole arm to move, whereas my index finger is already somewhere near the R and pinky already on CTRL from switching tabs.

I'm worried about the Admin. Completely unknown to whom that may be. They posted this thread in good will I thought.
Complain here. Four hundred and thirty posts in response! Re- refine it all etc.
I hope my visions of someone seeking a cardiologists are far fetched.

Re - Request the old archive of emoticons. The new batch are ok.
Maybe the old column is just another lost thing on the broken webs of the internet. :(

Why is it that when new programs/updates or items like next generation mobile phones, a lot of the previous features which everyone loves is stuffed, dead, deceased, no more etc...

I've felt that way ever since I got on the internet. Its not just that its like cameras, anything, everything!
They update which is good in being faster at everything but good features seem to blow off in the gust of it all.
We are just among the herd etc.

Ah the glory days on your 80286 machine when you could press CTRL - P on WordPerfect to Print, and your dot matrix nine pin would instantly roar into action like a cat being sawn in half.

not a huge issue, but I've tried using acronyms to search by and they've been unable to search by them (eg, m44, vb, etc). like I said, not huge but we often write those products or items in by acronyms and not their longer names. I couldn't search for m44 West coast ale yeast as it just found the words West, coast, and ale.

Forgive me if I'm missing an obvious reason with this, but I've not had much sleep in the last 48 hours due to night shifts. I've noticed after posting that not only I can edit my post, but I can also report my own post.....why would anyone want to do that?
