I'm putting a reminder in my phone this month, i will not forget!

I'll be there. I'll bring along my infected APA for comparison :p

You know what.
My Club recipe APA got infected too.
I'll bring in a bottle, anyway.

Hope mine Club Hefeweizen turns out better.
We should get the recipe to that soon.

Cheers
Brett

Nice to see a few new faces at the meeting.

I had a little trouble finding it (i dont think the melways reference is right) but it was good to meet a few more brewers, I think I'll make going to meetings become a regular thing.

Hi Lucas

I'm glad you enjoyed it.
We certainly got to try a lot of APA last night.
14 version in all.

Your correct about the Melways reference.
Melways Map73-K1 would be a better match.
I will follow that one up.

Cheers
Brett

Damned - had to miss last night to take some friends out to the airport. Might have to try to catch up with Nick to do an APA comparision - I'd love to know what's causing a strange taste in mine...

Not good Andy - I hope yours isn't as evil as mine! There was one served last night that had a similar flavour but a bit more subdued; I think it'll go way downhill from here for the brewer.

I'm moving next week and am hopeful the change of location will leave me with better brewing surrounds.

Not evil - just noticing an aftertaste. Pretty sure it's got something to do with the post primary process, because the beer tastes great in the fermenter, but once kegged has a distinctly metalic taste (I think - an untrained palate doesn't help).

We need a northern suburbs group in melbourne :beerbang:

No!?

I guess Tallarook isn't really a Melbourne suburb either, being 90 clicks up the Hume.

To get to Greensborough it would be all freeway for you.
Jump on the Hume and then the Ring Road.

You could always start something up in the Seymour region if it's too far.
