Hey,

I wanted to get a counter pressure bottle filler like this but I'm a tight arse (not handy either). Does anyone have one that they would be willing to sell?

Cheers

$60 would be bargain. In Australia they're like $100+ each.

Yeah, sorry I knew that. The above link was the first result in my lightning google search for an example.

I'd be happy with around $60.

Honestly, i've had one of These http://www.craftbrewer.com.au/shop/details.asp?PID=3856 for a few years now.... much cheaper than when I bought them, and if you wanna fill glass bottles, talk to Batz or any of the others about an adaptor.

No affiliation, apart from being a happy customer etc////

Cheers

Cheers. I just PM'd Batz

G'day acarey,

Sorry cobber but I have none of those left, I sent the last one out a week or so ago. I made up around 60 of those things and gave everyone of them to AHB members for nix.

I do have a few stainless washers that I made them from if that would help, dimensions are on the thread Dicko posted a link to. If I ever get a chance to knock up some more I will do so for the members here.

Sorry Jeff, didn't mean to put you in it!!

No worries at all Nick, I'm more than happy to help out fellow home brewers were ever I can.

I had one just like the one you're after but still found them a bit of a PITA. They work great but still rather fiddly.

You can't go wrong with a Blichman Beer Gun if you ask me.

I fill the odd bottle with a pluto. I wouldn't want to do 20 but enough for a barbie no worries (...19 :D ). I just slip a cap on ASAP hold it down as best I can to stop the foam and cap it. They usually need a rinse but that's OK.

Apologies if I have missed the point.

Without the pressure filler they would eventually go flat, like after a couple of days. Pressure filler bottled beer removes the oxygen/air and will stay carbonated for much longer, that's my take on things.

Squeakers from the tap work for me.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm leaning towards the one that Nickb and Batz et al have been talking about.

I've sold mine, I found it more effort than it was worth to me. I don't bottle for comps. anymore so the only times I used it was for taking a few bottles to parties etc.
I find a couple of growlers suits my needs much better and is way easier and quicker.

acarey. I am in the states and just bought myself the morebeer CPBF. As such I have the craft brewer/keg king type CPBF (new and unused) up for sale. $60 and you pay for postage. The reason I decided not to go with the craftbrewer/keg king type was it was going to be fiddly to connect to a keezer collar. It is really set up for attaching to a font. PM if interested.

I was considering the Blichmann, but the Morebeer version got a better recommendation at the Brisbane Homebrew Conference on the weekend.
