hello all.
finished my 3 vessel rig and gave it its first run lastnight.
i have 3x 50l kegs and i batch sparged using a manifold.
i did the recipe on beer smith and had concerns regarding the total amount of water needed.
( i had the brew eff set on 72%)
everything went as planned to the recipe, perfect amount in the kettle and perfect amount into cube after the hours boil.
the OG was supposed to be 1046 but ended up at 1036.
i was worried about the amount of water that beersmith said to have after sparging in the kettle which was 35L for a 4.8kg brew seemed a tad high.
does this seem high????
all the brews i have done as biab only used 34L total.
any tips or thoughts would be appreciated .
