Haven't been - menu is a bit fussy for mine. Haven't heard anything bad though, a few glowing reports, a few "pretty goods". Worth a gamble if pig's face and cucumber foam are your bag.
Shit yehhh for me maybe...LOL That will get the trackies on for sure...LOLDU99 said:How about this place really romantic
We normally do something but I guess 5 years marriage is the cut-off point? Fucken sweet!WarmBeer said:I confirmed with my wife last week that, once again, we shan't be assisting in financially buoying the Hallmark/Cadbury annual sales harvest.
hit her with the old "valentines day is just over commercialised hype, besides everyday is valentines day with you" line. It will save you a shitload of bother and you might still get a rootTruman said:Ok stuff that its in Collingwood which is a bit far for me on a weeknight. I have to take the missus out for a romantic dinner for valentines day. Can anyone suggest a decent restaurant between say Frankytown and the city or south to Portsea that meets the following criteria..
1. Must be romantic, Thats the number one criteria or shes gonna come home, take off the lingerie and slip into her trackies and thats a mood killer for sure.
2. Must serve decent beer. Not a huge range of craft beer or shes going to think Ive taken her there for the beer only. "You only picked this place because of the beer it serves" Another mood killer. (They must serve stout, porters or brown ales because thats all she seems to drink ATM)
3. A decent price. I dont mind spending a bit but dont want a place that charges $100 for a main.
4. Seafoods a winner so is tapas, Thai and Italian. 5. Bonus points for the closer to Frankston it is otherwise i run the risk of her falling asleep on the way home and then there will be no "relations" at all. She'll be too tired and cranky.
