Anyone know of any Melbourne (or Australian) suppliers of SS BSP lock nuts complete with o-ring groove?
I'm after 1" BSP nut as I've put a 1" to 1/2" reducing bush into an old heat element hole in my kettle to use as a whirlpool return. Struggling to get a perfect seal, the grooved nuts and o-rings in 1/2" have never leaked for me on other parts of my rig so hence why I'm after one for this 1" BSP hole (32mm diameter).
Keg King only have up to 3/4".
eBay suppliers are 5 weeks delivery.
Prochem and Geordi don't have grooves on their lock nuts.
So really hoping they exist at some supplier I just don't know of in Melbourne or greater Aus.
Photo is how I have it now, I used the silicone seal from the element I removed. I suspect it will eventually leak from the opening and closing of the ball valve and connecting the hose. So long term it needs something more robust. Plus I need to put the element back into the kettle at a lower point.
