Kristen England ?

Over the last day or so this forum has had a significant amount of traffic from a Kristen England who identifies himself as the director of education for the BJCP. I for one take little notice of titles afforded over the internet.

A quick google search reveals there is a Kristen England recently appointed to the BJCP along with two others to look at education.

I emailed the address given in a previous post and recieved a reply from Kristen England. This may be a very detailed troll but probably not.

Regardless of who the gentleman is his PR skills do need significant refinement.

I think with such a grandiose nick as BJCP Education Director I think it important that his bonafides a checked. If it wasnt real then some members may perceive this guy as authorative without question. Too many forums have bogus nicks who turn out to be trolls and AHB has not been immune. Thanks chiller for the link and looks as tho the guy is the real deal.

Great to have him on the board, lookin forward to useful information, and he should be a useful conduit to, and a great insight into, the BJCP inner circle :blink: .

Are you for real DS.
You may not care about correct information ... I've seen some of your postings, but others want to develop this craft with sound advice from people they trust.

You may not ask with malice but yes it does matter.

Muck rack. You are a strange person. It is hardly muck raking to attempt to verify the identy of someone posting to a group I find extremely useful and claiming to be part of an organisation most of us are aware of. If he checks out and maybe he will. Fine. He is another brewer on this site.
