Hello,

I just took a SG reading of 1016. I haven't used this yeast before has it finished fermenting?

Thanks

Hughezy

PS og reading was 1033

What was the recipe? Hard to give advice with out that

any further info how long has been brewing..and what temp has it been kept at

:icon_offtopic: how's the flood's going

Sorry guys, normally more on the ball then this.

I put the brew down on the 15 of Jan at 17 C for about a week and a half pushed it up to 19C for the remainder.

As for the flooding, I wouldn't know as I am further north.

Are the morgans kits 1.8kg? Going by Beersmith's calcs using the kit as 1.8kg and 1kg liquid wheat, for 23L you should be looking at an FG of around 1.010 with that yeast.

I did one of these last year; Coopers wheat kit 1.7kg + Morgans wheat malt extract 1.5kg + WB-06. 21l, 21C, OG 1.045, FG 1.007 after 13 days. I can't imagine there'd be much difference between the Coopers and Morgans kits.

It was best drinking between one and three weeks in the bottle.
