Hi, I just joined the forum after lurking for a good couple of months and first post so I apologies if I'm posting in the wrong spot? Any enlightenment on that would be helpful.

I'm currently fermenting my first Berliner Weisse which I Kettle Soured with a White Labs 672 Lacto Brevis. I then pitched 8 capsules of the Ethical Nutrients IBS Support Lacto Plantarum which got down to desired sourness in a little over two days. And this is fermenting away nicely, I think I'll rack it onto 3kg of frozen strawbs.

To cut to the chase I'm interested in doing my next sour using YoPro found at Coles, it has Lacto Bulgaricus, Streptococcus and thermophilus. I was curious if anyone has used this in souring a beer? The label doesn't specify the quantity of Lacto in it so I was thinking of doing a starter a few days before pitching.

Anyone here used it before or have thoughts on this?

Cheers.
