on a serious note though, kensington is close enough to the local taphouse that i'd probably just go there.

1, Doncaster is not bad and right at Kensington, 268 Anzac Parade.

Head further south allong Anzac parade:
3, Regent at 418 Anzac Parade, Kingsford

Head further south allong Anzac parade:
2, Churchills at Kingsford roundabout is not bad.

4, Fox and Lion at moore park/ fox studios area.

Have those 4 for you to consider and the numbers are my rating.

Sorry about that,
My 1st choice is marked 1, The Doncaster.
A nice pub right next to the randwick racecourse, always a good feed up on the 2nd level where you can cook you own steak and other stuff. 2 pool tables
2 Church is a sports pub with extensive tab and about 4 pool tables
3 The Regent is old style but gets a fair few people in there usually, think they may have got rid of thir pool tables for seating and pokies.
4 fox and lion is yuppy style, think they got rid of their pool tables too.
