Hi I am new to the site and I am wondering about an issue I have come up against,I have 4 kegs but only room for 3 in my fridge I am leaving 1 keg in a cool place but should I have it gased whilst it is out of the fridge or leave it ungased till I put it in the fridge.

Thanks

Dean

Hey Dean,

Not uncommon to only have space for a few kegs, with one left out.

Definitely put the gas on it, and store somewhere cool.

Keg it as if you were going to put it in the fridge, purge, pressurise and then store. If you've got no leaks then you can disconnect and just leave it. Just be careful it doesn't get too hot (can be hard moving in to summer).

You need positive pressure in the keg to ensure that the lid seals properly.
