I have one of the older MKIII dual regulators and have recently noticed the second regulator gauge is building pressure even when it's completely off. It looks like some of the pressure is transferring from the first regulator that's in use to the second? I then recently hooked up the second reg to some new soda water at 50psi and overnight the c02 bottle was drained empty... Any ideas?

Most likely you have some small contamination under the seat and seat cap assembly.

I would follow this instruction manual:

I have an empty gas bottle and no where within 5km can refill it.

Can you guys please start a pickup and dropoff service :( I need gas!

Can I get one more thing clarifyed about diluted star-san in the fermzilla?

I'm pretty sure the star-san was clear when I put it in the fermzilla But after a week of it being in there, it is now cloudy white. do you know why this is?

It's the surfactant coming out of the solution.

It's been commonly stated online that its because the solution has been neutralised but water has to be extremely alkaline for that to happen.

With your new Fill-O-Meter product, is there anyway i can connect a garden hose to an inline fridge filter like what Stefani sell? they take 1/4 inch tubing.

I’m looking to add duotight fitting to my old all-in-one mini reg. What is the best way to do this to avoid Leaks? Which fitting would I need?

Secondly, as the nylon is reacting with the stellarsan you will also find that it will lose it's acidity over time. So after a few months the liquid sanitiser will cease to be effective. So you will end up with a liquid that is not acidic enough to be effective and therefore very open to infection. Having a liquid of neutral PH would be worse than leaving the tank dry.
Is that the case for storing stella/starsan in something without nylon?

I store my HDPE cubes with a small amount of starsan in them - is that bad?

The HDPE is completely non-reactive with phosphoric acid. So that is completely fine.

Its quite easy to adapt to this. Most water filters and dispensers use the 1/4 tubing. All you need is these fittings:

https://www.kegland.com.au/duotight-9-5mm-3-8-push-in-to-1-2-female.html
Then you can step the hose down the 1/4 with the reducer:

Thanks, would a Duotight 1/2" female to 1/4" adaptor be something you would consider selling? This would eliminate the dicking around with different size tubes and reducers. I have seen some fittings from John Guest.

I have 1/4" tubing from an old fridge with water/ice dispenser but with your method i would need to buy 10m of 3/8" tubing only to use about 50cm.

Yes I see this is a bit of a problem. I will organise this to be included in the range. Will take a few months to get the tooling made up but it's fairly easy for us to make this part and I would agree other customers will need this in the future too.

I should also say another slightly messy solution is to get this part here:
https://www.kegland.com.au/diverter-valve-1-4-inch-for-reverse-osmosis-filter-system.html
But then you need an end cap or something to block off the male 1/2 thread.

Just thought I would mention this is another possibility although it's still not the perfect solution for you by the sounds of it.

Just a quick post to say thanks to the crew at KL for getting my equipment out to me today. 65 Digiboil and SS chiller coil running perfectly straight out of the box. It got 50 lts of water up to 55 degrees pretty smartly and I then added PBW to clean out any residual stuff and recirc through coil. Looking forward to knocking out a brew on Saturday. And big ups to the Freight Direct dude who was happy to have a quick chat and talk positive about the state we are in. keep up the good work!

Hey Razz. Thanks for the feedback. Really appreciate it. Let us know if we can assist in any other way.
