Kegerators

Hi all,

Just wondering peoples thoughts on ready built kegerators available on ebay, keg king etc.

Do u have/had one?

Are there any reasons that I should/shouldnt be buying one?

Are modifications made easily ie replacing taps etc?

Anything i may have missed?

I had the series 3 Keg King Kegerator. It was ok and did the job well. However, since getting Obelix (my chesty) it is soooo much better. A little work to get it altogether but well worth it imo.

I have a ebay made one, some guy was making them in his garage in emu planes nsw.

The only problem I have is that the font tower warms up and need to pour and throw out half a beer when i start drinking and if its a hot day that can be every pour.

I would recommend a tall fridge with the taps coming out of the door or a freezer with a collar with the taps in that, just like amber fluids Obelix.
