I have acquired a couple of dud corney kegs that are going to donate their tops to my 50L kegs to make keg fermenters. The rubber handles and bases seem vulcanised to the stainless. Has anyone had any experience with removing these from the stainless, I'm open to suggestions

Heat em up with a hot air gun and work a putty knife in under the edge, once you get them started the rubber comes off ok.

Ta will give it a go tonight
