Does any one know where i can buy replacement keg posts, poppets, dip tubes, gas tubes, release valves for different type kegs. I have a couple of older firestone kegs as well as newer ones so i guess i will need different types of poppets, posts etc. But are they obtainable in Australia preferably Brisbane? and if so does anyone have an indication of costs.

i can supply keg posts, i have gas dip tubes - poppets and keg seals.

However - my posts are ball lock and the poppets are cornelius..

i am not sure if the cornelius and firstone poppets are equivalent.

but the poppets fit my ball lock turrets.

But can i put cornelius posts on my firestone kegs? Are the threads the same?

You could try Andale, they have a office in Coorparoo. Other than that some local HBS.

the posts should fit....worst case scenario - they dont and you just send them back to me.

As far as know the threads are the same.

Take your keg down to Quality Home brew at Underwood - they have a mountain of spare parts out the back...

Pardon my obvious ignorance, but what's the difference between a post and a poppet

Cheers - Snow

The poppet sits inside the post. Here is a piccy of popoets.
