Quick question guys,

If I lay the kegs down horiztontal in an esky and hook up the gas (vertical) will they still be able to be dispensed properly or will the tube not pick up all the liquid correctly?

It'll work until the keg gets down to around 1/2 full at which time the liquid tube will be sticking up into the gas.

Thought so, cool.

You could bend the diptube though against the wall of the keg?

some kegs have a diptube that goes into a little recess at the edge of the bottom of the keg, rather than just sitting in the middle - if you got hold of one of these you could pretty much dispense the whole keg horizontally. Alternatively you could make a special diptube for the purpose if it was important to you...

Or if you wanted to be really clever you could cut the diptube really short and attach a length of PVC tubing with a weight at the end - this way it wouldn't matter which way you had the keg, as the weight would always take the tube to the bottom...

Be carefull too that you don't send beer back up the gas line, as the gas diptube will be under beer for some time. :)
