Keg Dip Tube Sediment

The floating screened pick up connects to the beer out dip tube via flexible tubing, but the dip tube of course needs adaptation from the original long beer out version- I've tested an ordinary gas in dip tube and it seems fine (can't recall if Ross mentioned this aspect at the BABB demo). I am not sure if a suitable dip tube comes with the pick up kit, I'm still to get mine but I have a few keg spares anyway. So a retrofitted keg basically has two gas in dip tubes, while the theory goes that the beer clears from the top down (which follows sedimentation/ particle settling principles) and can be dispensed much sooner than beer with a standard pickup which has its intake at the bottom.
The pickup also has a separate adapter for tapping a cask real ale style, however I doubt if individuals will use that method much as cornies are far more common here.
