Anyone got any suggestions for a James Squire Amber Ale Clone beer or something similar? I have a Californian Ale Yeast I want to use up as well

I've made a few clones of this beer in the past which have turned out pretty close. I reckon the key ingredient is around 2-3% amber malt. I aim for around 20-25EBC and about 27IBUs. The following recipe would get you in the ball park:

80% Ale
10% Munich
3% Amber
3% Crystal
4% Dark Crystal
POR (or other) @ 60
1g/L Willamette @ 20
1g/L Willamette @ 5

I'm on my second pint of my first American amber ale. And im loving it, good caramel, in ya face hops, and a very nuetral yeast. Mine probably won't be as close to JSAA as T.D's, but its a nice drop.

92.8% pils
1% Cara aroma
1% Black patent ( in at the last 15 mins of boil for colour, worked great BTW )
3.1% Caramunich 3
2.1% munich

US 56/05/american ale dry yeast.

5g Simcoe 14.7% 60 mins
15g simcoe FWH
35g Willamette 4.9% FWH
30g Willamette 1min

Opps sorry I forgot to mention that I havn't done all grains yet just a partial.

In that case just swap the pale malt with LME (or part of it). I reckon this is a style where using some extracts will not be a problem at all.
