Hi to my Newcastle brethren.

I’m 5 brews into brewing since the 28/12/18.

I’m a hip head and love a good IPA but, I do like my dark ales.

Just putting the shout out to see if the HUB is still running. A lot of the meeting posts and or topics are over 4 years old.

From my experience with groups, most have moved to social media for organisation (FB, etc).

I found the FB groups a tad abrasive, might just go it alone. YouTube is a wealth of knowledge.

It's annoying for me, since I'm not on FB, which automatically excludes me from that community (which is my choice entirely).

If you were further south, I'd be keen to start a group with ya!

Third Friday of the month
Hamilton North Bowling Club
Get there about 6:30 for a 7:00ish start
Club has some OK beers and it isn't a bad feed if that's your inclination.

I joined the group in Jan, nice group of people, come to the next meeting 26 April
