Hey brewers! May 2 is International Homebrew Day and Canberra Brewers have got some big things planned for the day.

We'll have eight brewers making three different recipes on eight different systems (including BIAB, 3-vessel, HERMS, Braumeister, Grainfather, extract) along with a bunch of other demos.

We've been doing something like this for several years, but this year we've secured a location that's nice and open to the public so we can really spread the good homebrew message to the masses.

We'll be down at Westside, Acton Park (the mini shipping container village by Lake Burley Griffin) and are planning the brewing demos, along with meat curing, mead making and home coffee roasting, and a bunch of Canberra Brewers will be there to chat and talk homebrew. The venue should have a bunch of food vendors open, along with coffee and juice bar, and there's room for the kids to run around - so bring the family! You can also head up to the rooftop bar afterwards for a couple of beers with a view.

We're also hoping to have some homebrew samples available.

We're promoting a 10am start time, but will be there earlier to start setting up.

Hope to see you all there!!
