Hi, I haven't opened one to test yet but it's been two weeks since I bottled with drops. I have noticed that there appears to be a slight scum ring abound the neck of the bottle. Have I just not noticed this before or is this an infection. I have put one in the fridge and will taste tomorrow. What do you think?

What type of brew? Probably not an infection, likely sediment. Have you had the bottles upright the whole time?

Bottles have been upright the whole time. It's a cooper pale ale kit, with steeped grain and hop pellets.

Sediment from hop and grain maybe. Did you cold condition before bottling? I have never had a bottle infection but expect that it would cause bottle bombs. Perhaps carefully open one and have a sniff and taste to be safe.

Thanks, I was stressing for nothing. Tasted one today and smells and tastes fine.
