Geeky and cool yes.
But in reality I guess it would be just another thing that would need to be cleaned and sanitised.

When I was working in a sugar lab we had a refrac that was digital and not in line just a bench type that read brix and I think that alone cost between $400 - $500 so this one would probably be a grand or more?
