Here are some pictures of my temp controled brewery,
1 is the fermenter (84 litres in thar)
2 is the controll switch, just set it and forget it,
3 is where the probe and temp gauge wire go deep inside the brew via a fish tank heater tube with the gizzards removed.

looking good fingers.what exactly does the control panel look after?
still putting some finishing touches to my ag set up but will post pics in good time

cheers
big d

Hi Big D,
the switch in the control panel will switch power to either the fridge plug (grey cord ) or the light bulb mounted under the fermenter for heat ( red cord) depending at what setting the switch is at. Unfortunatly I took this photo just a few hours after fermentation had finished and had turned the switch down to 0 for a weeks cold conditioning, that is why the temp gauge is reading 14deg and the switch is set at 0. The push button switch to the right of the panel is a left over from another idea that didn't work as is the light socket mounted at the top of the fermenter.

Hi Guys

here is a link to my mates brewery set up in Canberra.

Note:
the Convoluted Counter Flow Wort Chiller - from St Pats
The fermenter Taps - allows you to use a glass carboy as a conical fermenter.
He sells the Fermenter Taps for anyone interested.
I got him the taps for the freezer.
I also helped with advice on the brewing Bench.

Electronically, Ill be using a float switch for controlling water level in Mash tunn so neet to wire that in yet too....

Only comment is i hope that you have sealed/varnished the MDF....

yep, I sealed it with some matt varnish I had handy....

Just looking to keep to my budget (dont ask - full list will be coming when Ive finished) at this stage. Will upgrade to something flash in the future... maybe aluminium chequer plate!!!
