I have some S04 and some yeasty trub of London 3 from memory, not sure if it's viability. You are welcome to either if that would help you out.

London 3 is exactly what I'm after!
As long as it hasn't been sitting in the fridge for a year or more, I can probably revive it.

No worries, could probably give you a back up pack of S04 just in case. Has only been there for a few months so should be fine.

Mick - Irish red ale, English Bitter, Mild, Pale Ale
Gino - 15L Red Ale
Beejay - A part of a keg of Bitter - quantity unknown at this stage
Adrian - Mixed bag of old strong case swap

Food
Mick - Pulled pork and/or duck
Gino - Ribs
Beejay - Mixed Paella
Some Chorizos and pork sausages to smoke and maybe some other stuff (jalepeno poppers mmm)

Well it is blue sky and sunshine here this morning with a forecast of showers and thunderstorms. We've had plenty of rain over the past couple of days so it's a bit wet underfoot.

Pork has been in the smoker since 10pm last night and looking good so far. Rain, hail or shine it's a good day for brewing.

Will anyone attending have access to any sort of English Ale yeast?
Dry, sludge, liquid.... I need anything English.
I have a bunch of liquid yeasts I got for free recently and was relying on them for a brew I just made.
But even with starters, neither of the English yeasts were viable.

Happy to pay if anyone has anything handy.

Were those the giveaways from cheeky peak? I grabbed a handful as well but haven't tried firing any up yet..

Great day and night. Fine beers from all!

Was a bit dusty driving home (via Wollongong). Gino alluded above to Monkeybusiness bringing a crate of strong ales from a 2010 case swap. Some of those brews really aged well!. We might do a strong ale project sometime, where we hold the brews for years, intentionally rather than cos Adrian forgot they were there!

Left my chips at your place Mick - hold them and I will collect soon.

Hey I just wanted to echo the many thanks to Mick and Ingrid for hosting such a fun event and also to all of the IBUs for making Brooke and I feel so welcome. I'm loving my new T-shirt and once again Gino is really making me wish I owned a smoker!
