Damn it's been awhile! I need to brew! Not for lack of trying. I just keep getting knocked back by my wife ;) In truth I've been hung up in my system build for a bit…erm, quite awhile.

Fortunately I have a few brews scheduled with mates. Not all of us do though.

Seems this might be a place folks can post something when they need to get their brew on and can't at home. And then kind souls nearby looking for some brew company or to collaborate can offer a chance?

Or just s place to piss and moan about not brewing enough?

Im gunna have to pull an all nighter to fill that other barrel with a smoked porter or normal stout in the VERY near future.. Ive got the wax, the sulphur just need to brew the mo fo..

I hear you Mardoo! I brewed on Sunday after a lot of grovelling. Think the last time was a September when I did one by myself. I have the ingredients and the recipes for the next 100 brews planned but it's finding a pass. SHMBO is really happy I am passionate about a hobby just as long as I don't use money or time to do it. But I loves her so I bide my time and do things carefully :)

It did feel good to brew on Sunday when if I had a 10 month strapped to me and was constantly being diverted away.

First world problems hey!

you brewed with a strap-on?

Respect
Was too nervous to brew without pants like the professionals, so I thought it was a good compromise. I could still rock out with a **** out.

Never let 'don't forget, your minding the kids today' stop you either.

Activities? Sorted..

Jonos had my brewery since July 2015 to service/rebuild and improve it (Didnt think it could be improved anymore but when Jono is on the case how wrong i was!) ! Lucky i have had my trusty urn to brew a little bit on in the meantime.

No such restrictions from the missus, she will take the kids for an arvo so i can get my brew on.

Brew balls are still firmly blue tho :(

Always happy to join in brew collaborations..

Yeah, my missus is actually very supportive of me brewing. It's her chronic illness that gets in the way.

After I exhaust the opps I have lined up I'll definitely be hitting this thread, and you Grainer, up for a brew collab.

Last time i had brew balls i found some relief with a quick extract batch. Just a pale ale made from ldme and some mystery hops from the frezzer, small batch brewed on the kitchen stove and chilled in an ice bath in the sink. It wasn't an award winner but it was good to get one away.

Brew balls? Yep, Ive got a heavy, cracked 5kg sack thats almost 3 weeks old. Have to blow it this weekend or my suger babys are going to go stale.

Stupid life gets in the way!

This thread makes me feel better.

Getting time to brew is almost always a mission or a stealth operation planned meticulously a week or so in advance, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

My wife was actually the one who suggested i upgrade to a double batch rig. And then invest in a keg system. She was sick of hearing me complaining about running out of beer, that and having the kitchen full of bottles lol

^^^ she's a keeper. Mine's sending me mixed messages - "It's great you have a hobby you really enjoy" / "Isn't four brews enough?" ...
