Guys with my hydrometer tube that I place the wort in, because the one I brought for it was too short for the hydrometre I've had to insert a smaller bit of tubbing inside it.

This means that around the top its a about 2 millimetres shorter in circumfrance then the bottom.

Could this effect my gravity readings?

Thanks.

So long as the hydrometer floats freely, it should be fine.

Damn was hoping it was giving a lower reading!

Thanks PM.
