I brewed today and for the first time i'd take a gravity measurement after the boil to figure out my efficiency (i don't usually bother)
i assumed the plastic tube would be high temp...
I was wrong
Does anyone know what size measuring cylinder i would need to suit the average hydrometer? (i think mine is a brewcraft unit)

Pretty sure I bought a 100 ml measuring cylinder off ebay. 2 for about $17 delivered from Ballarat or thereabouts. Sorry no link. Fill it to about 110ml and hydro will float in 1010 gravity. Not too much wastage and not too hard to 'sample' the majority of the tube depending on gravity.

They were borosilicate not plastic BTW
