I'm a newish brewer. Got a hb kit for my birthday in April cause my wife didn't know what else to get me and things have gone horribly wrong for her since that day.
I started with kit and kilo brews all of which turned out well but then I cranked my inner OCD up to 11 and moved into extract, partial and all grain in the space of 6 months. My wife needless to say never saw what hit her although I'm fairly sure it was the kegenator I somehow convinced her to let me buy.
I'm currently mashing in a converted cooler and have a decent 46L kettle but my project for 2014 is to build a herms system. I've already bought a set of 2nd hand kegs to convert into a hlt and kettle and my existing pot will become my new mash tun. Needless to say the wife is going spare, it's probably good that she likes beer almost as much as I do.
